IYNAUS
The B. K. S. Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States (IYNAUS), a not-for-profit organization, disseminates and promotes the art, science and philosophy of yoga according to the teachings of B. K. S. Iyengar. IYNAUS oversees teacher training guidelines, holds annual certification assessments and provides workshops and events for members and yoga practitioners. IYNAUS also produces a quarterly newsletter, Samachar, sponsors conventions and conferences, operates a store, maintains an archive of Iyengar Yoga materials and publishes a national directory of Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers. Iyengar Yoga Association of California Southern Region (IYACSR) is one of twelve non-profit regional associations whose educational and charitable purpose is to study, teach, disseminate and promote the art, science and philosophy of Yoga according to the teachings of B.K.S.
